A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Tonight was a one of my favorite musical, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, at Ohlone College. My friend Stephanie played one of the main character, Philia. Philia is a ditzy blonde type and she played it t perfection.
The production was pretty big, with a cast of over 25. I thought the play was exceptional for a college production. The actors were really funny and well done. The singing and dancing were very good and I really enjoyed myself. I have seen this with professional actors and I thought this production held up well.
If you have not seen this show before, I highly recommend it. It’s one show that allows actors to improvise more than any other shows. It really is funny with high energy action, great songs and dance routines.
