Thanksgiving Dinner at home

Every year, I look forward to two holidays: Thanksgiving and Christmas. Mostly it’s because of food and family. On Thanksgiving, entire family brings food to one location and we pig out. If you know my family, this is a ritual that we cherish.

This year, it’s no different that we out did ourselves. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures and hopefully I will have some pictures from others. I made a couple of my own appetizers to the feast.

First was my crab salad, made with mayo/mustard, mixed with sweet gerkins, roasted pine nuts on top of toasted baguette slice. The other was a shrimp mixed with smoked oysters and green onions. That was all mixed with egg and  bread crumb then mixed together. Then I put them in wonton skin and steamed. It was served with EEVO and balsamic vinegar sauce.  Both were a hit and all were gone by the end of the night.

I really love the mix of traditional Thanksgiving feast, like Turkey and Korean food every year. I am already looking forward to next year.
