Best sandwich ever?

object730I am a big foodie, as you can probably tell. I watch both FoodTV and Travel channels constantly. I watched an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservation one day and he was in San Francisco. One of the food he tried was this sandwich from a grocery store in the Mission District. I said, I must try this sandwich.

Today, I met up with my friend Stephanie, who lives in the Mission District to try out this sandwich. The place was called That’s It Market, on Mission and 23rd. When I walked in, the deli counter was very small, only 6 seats. 5 of those seats were occupied at 1:30PM, so I knew I hit the jackpot. If it’s not good, they won’t have too many people after the lunch hours.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich, the same one Bourdain ordered. She cooked it right in front of us.

The sandwich had everything, egg, chorizo, ham, a wiener, avocado, chili, bacon, on and on. It was one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever had. Also, it probably increased my cholesterol by about 30 points. Definitely a must try at least once in your life time.
