Finally a New Position

I have been looking for a position for a while. The ideal one would be part time so I can continue with my other interests and pay my bills. I talked to Debbie, my former manager and she said she was swamped with work. So, I casually mentioned that she should hire me to manage programs at Polyremedy to help out. She came through and I am very grateful.

I started today at Polyremedy as a consultant. I will be working 20-30 hours per week as an independent contractor. Although my title is a Program Manager, I have a feeling that I will be doing a lot more for the company. I will be working from 9 AM until mid afternoon, I am pretty sure that I will not be working just 30 hours per week. However, I can only bill the company for 30 hours per week maximum.

Polyremedy produces a large medical device that produces a custom size wound dressings, using a predefined wound protocols. Very interesting product. It also gets me a foot in to medical device area. I need to learn a few things quickly but it’s not too bad overall.
