Back from Malaysia and Singapore

object720After great time in Asia, I am back. It was a trip of a lifetime. I had a blast.

I went from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching then to Singapore and finally back to Kuala Lumpur. Few observations from the trip. Malaysia is a Muslim country but adopted to the secular way of life. Not strict like middle east countries but a large Muslim population. You can see most of the women wear head scarf and modestly dressed, despite the constant hot and humid weather.

The food has heavy influence from Muslim as well, with predominant protein being chicken with some mutton. KFC was everywhere. The people are friendly and they all spoke some English minimum. I loved the Kuching area, where I met with Adrian, a friend from online bulletin board about karaoke. He took me around everywhere and we went out singing every night I was there.

I visited my cousin Eunah, her husband Mike and their girl Ella in Singapore. They had a big place in a tower. It was a very nice place.

I mostly roamed around on my own and saw some great attractions. I really loved the food most of all. I have pictures on my Facebook so please visit and see them.
